Approved for installation in the US and Canada by ETL, Huracan fans move hot air from the upper areas of the space back down to the floor using minimal energy. This action minimizes the amount and cost of heat needed to satisfy occupant comfort or product safety by eliminating the natural stratification that occurs and directing heat already supplied to the space back to lower levels.
Using the Huracan can eliminate the presence of dripping water and puddles on the floor caused by perspiration on the ceiling by mixing warm, humid air with cooler, drier air near the floor. During summer or warmer days in spring and autumn, the Huracan can also reduce the cooling load by providing smooth, consistent airflow.
The Reznor® Model H Destrat Fans are extremely flexible for installation with two-point suspension from a threaded bar. Reznor’s unique side brackets are designed for vertical or angled mounting, and the front of the units have directional louvers to adjust air distribution.
The Huracan’s design is sleek and modern, featuring a scratch-resistant two-tone black and white coated steel paintwork. Each unit has rounded corners and edges and no visible screws or fasteners.
